Working with a ternary concept (Triplets). Your left hand plays the Clave in the Wood Block, the right hand will play the Triplets, to reach the independence of your hands (it is important that you sing the subdivisions like Horacio does). This video consists of three exercises of 1 stroke, with the 4th, 5th and 6th quarter notes of the triplet located in the 2nd quarter note of the bar.
Commentary:
On the fourth note. 1, 2, 3, 4… Fifth 1, 2, 3,4… Sixth 1, 2, 3, 4… This exercise is part of the group “Triplets with 1 Stroke Exercises” from 05029 to 05036. Remember: we play the Rumba Clave with the left hand and the triplets with the right hand. We are playing all these exercises with the right hand but don’t forget to play with both hands, so practice this exercise changing hands.
