There is a method of Bob Moses’s which I have found extremely useful for an understanding of this kind of measures: Bob Moses called it “reference points”. And music is full of them. I think it is basic to understand where these points are, so as to understand and assimilate the music that we are playing. Here, we are dealing with 9/4.
