Commentary:

Once we have very clear these subdivisions, then we will get into the study of the “Clave” itself. The Clave, as we said before is the background of afrocuban rhythms like this pattern of every different kind of grooves or patterns that exist in afrocuban music. We have a first one, coming from Africa, coming from the part of Nigeria and Congo. We have the Clave of 6/8 or the Clave that is also called 12/8 Clave and also called Bembé Clave.
