Starting with this exercise, the complexity level is very high; therefore, make sure you have practiced the previous exercises in order to assimilate this level comfortably. Here you have three exercises in the style of Chino Pozo with an introduction that Giovanni calls “Alzada”; generally it is composed of one to six bars. These patterns are 2 and 4 bar patterns.



Another level for Mambo, like I said before like Chino Pozo, that was a style starting like this, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4… Another variation to that is, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4… Another step to that other variation goes like this, 1, 2, 3, 4,…
