Description

This exercise has 16 parts: work with both hands (R-L or L-R), one stroke by each, and the HiHat always on quarter notes. Commentary:

As with quarter note triplets and sextuplets, these exercises help you to combine this type of ternary figure (three strokes per beat) with the other binary figures (two strokes per beat), a crucial step for mastering the rhythmic language. This will enrich your playing when it comes to breaks or patterns. Remember to recite all the figures.
