Giovanni Hidalgo shows you the Guaguancó pattern in the Puerto Rico style. You have to play this pattern with eighth notes, and you have Open, Slap, etc… beats. You only work with the Tumbadora in order to understand step by step how to play this pattern.
Commentary:
When you play the Guaguancó, some ways, some parts you heard that on a couple of recordings like Puerto Rico style, that when we do some Rumba in Guaguanco, we do like this, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4 right? But the first three that I was playing, those are the main ones, I mean the correct ones.
