This video consists on an exercise with a different combination for the rhythms called Latin Jazz “Salsa” in Cymbal, Snare, Bass Drum, hihat and introduction of the Toms imitating the pattern of the Congas. 1st line Right hand plays Cáscara “D” different in the Cymbal 2nd line Left hand plays Snare and variations in the Toms 3rd line Bass Drum plays “Tumbao” 2nd Eight Notes on the 2nd beat Hihat in all the Quarter notes of the bar



This is another pattern that can be used on the style of music that people call latin jazz. Please, play closed attention on the pattern played on the ride hand which is very important. With the left hand, I’m going to be covering the conga pattern. So, here we go. One, two, three, four…
