Commentary:

Most styles of contemporary music are made up of figures such as sixteenth notes, so it is very important to master them. In addition, this type of exercise will help you not only to familiarise yourself thoroughly with their form, but also to master all their accents and how to apply them in other places than just on the beat, an aspect that I have already mentioned as common to drummers with a restricted rhythmic style. This will help you to gain fluency and enrich your vocabulary.
